Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Worship Service – Celebrating the life and legacy of the late civil rights leader.
Annual Community Empowerment Conference – The CEG, in partnership with area bankers, government officials and businesses, presents one of the nation’s most exciting and comprehensive training and networking events for the African American church, community, political and business leaders who are concerned about individual and collective empowerment for underserved communities.
First Friday Pastors Breakfast Meetings – Addressing issues of concern to our members, parishioners and community, these meetings provide Clergy members with information from top expert practitioners for enlightenment, discussion, and practical ideas for implementation of corrective actions.
Liaisons Program – Assist the pastor with dissemination, promotion and implementation of CEG endorsed programs within the local church.
Anniversary Awards Celebration –A celebration of the organization’s yearly achievements and the contributions of those persons and organizations who have participated in a significant way in the economic empowerment of our community.
CEG Training Institute – The umbrella program for all educational workshops, seminars, and forums that provide technical assistance, training and apprise participants of financial services available to strengthen and
Reverend Jonathan L. Weaver Scholarship - A $1,500.00 scholarship available to high school seniors of the Collective Empowerment Group member churches and adults over the age of 25 with earned GED diplomas planning to attend college. This one-time, non-renewable scholarship is restricted to majors related to business economics, mission and missionary. The scholarship award provides for tuition, required fees, books, traditional room and board and will be disbursed at $750.00 per semester during the freshman year.
Annual Golf Tournament - An opportunity to fellowship with CEG pastors and members, elected officials, and community, business and civic leaders.
